Time to RecoverQrow sat next to Carmyne’s hospital bed watching her rest. She had been sleeping more often than not since the attack, which was normal for a recovery. At least that was what Qrow was calling it in his brain. Carmyne seem to see it a different way.Time to Recover by lady-blackwings
Carmyne was always different. That was first lesson Qrow learned about her. It did not matter that she was a witch, a faunas or whatever people wanted to call her that day, she was still different. She would manage to keep a mellow happiness about her that just gave people a reason to smile. That was what Qrow thought as he recalled things had seen since she walked into his life. Qrow watched as she rolled over. As he leaned forward his hand drifted over her hand. She always had these quiet moments in her but when she exploded, it was a spectacle better than any firework.
“Hey,” Carmyne said softly as her eyes began opening.
“Afternoon sleepy head,” Qrow teased with a soft smirk.
Question Your TruthOzpin asked Carmyne to come to his office. She was not sure what for since she knew the normal reasons were out. Little did she knew that they weren’t so out of the question as Ozpin brought up that Qrow had been shadowing Ironwood in Atlas for last couple of days.Question Your Truth by lady-blackwings
Carmyne scratched her cheek, “I might have mentioned that I heard James ask you about my birthday after I ran into the elevator.” Ozpin sighed as his head shook back and forth. “He was annoying me about it again but than did something really good so I gave him a hint. That and James did something very annoying so..” Carmyne trailed off.
“Two birds with one stone,” Ozpin finished as he finally began to understand.
“You can look at it that way,” Carmyne replied with a grin.
“And they think I’m bad,” Ozpin almost laughed out.
“They just forget what it means to be naughty,” Carmyne said as comes around Ozpin’s desk
The Night I BrokeI don’t remember everything of that night. There are still some blanks spots when I try to put it together. But there this feeling when I look back on it. Also I do remember it is first night I finally got some sleep. The Night I Broke by lady-blackwings
Raven came to talk to me that night. She was doing it on a passing notion of visiting me again. Nothing seems to surprise my sister very much but Carmyne catching her outside the window definitely made the moment note worthy. Carmyne decided to give use some room to talk and left the hotel for a while. Little did I realize that she already formed an opinion about my partnership with Carmyne. That was when Raven made the comment. “She’s unusual. Not quite like Summer was but than again you would know better than me on both counts wouldn’t you.”
I don’t remember much of what happened between us after that. Raven said her piece and left, like she always does. She never waits for a response to anything. It never took long afte

Ever since Sister Ester took her vows as the sister of the Church and promised herself to the Lord, she had been told the same thing over and over again. Never ever, ever, EVER, go into the attic of Notre Dame. The reasons always varied; the roof was rotting and she could fall through the floor, it was full of dust and could cause illness, it was full of rats, ect, ect. But all these reasons did not still Sister Ester’s curiosity and even though she did not want to go against Father Roland’s wishes, she just had to know. A quick peak never hurt anyone, right?
The young nun didn’t know what she expected to find. Rotten wood, dust, rats. But what she didn’t expect was to be staring right at a unholy creature, a demon, holding an innocent human baby in it’s arms, only eliminated by the few rays of day light pouring through the closed shutters. She was frozen, staring at the beast that stared right back at her. It’s large yellow eyes penetrated her very
